PROVINCIAL TREASURY, PROVINCE OF PEI                             Jan 2003 - Current

Project Leader/Business Technologist 

Oversee all phases of the re-write of the department’s primary systems, including the development of business requirements, consulting on vendor proposals, day-to-day project management of outsourced development, workflow analysis, system implementation and testing.

Accomplishments

Oversaw the installation of the provincial government’s first corporate Image Repository including writing the specifications for the initial use, and consulting on the integration of the repository within the Registry of Deeds and Property Assessment/Taxation systems.

Manage all aspects of the re-write of the Registry of Deeds software including a new interface to the Comptroller’s Oracle Financials environment, and developed the specifications for the departments first electronic Survey Index.

In addition to the overall project management role on the Property Assessment/ Taxation re-write, consulted on the vendor selection and served as the secretary on the project steering committee.

Provided direction to the Tax Commissioner on IT strategy as it related to customer management, systems integration, positive accounts, vendor sales tax collection and the implementation of the Property Tax Consumer Price Index program.
